Before attending the UCLA School of Law, Nick graduated magna cum laude from Clemson University and earned a master’s degree from Penn State. Prior to his work as an attorney, Nick wrote professionally for Science News and Research Penn State and published a novel, Mordor, California. He is also a former National Teacher of the Year for Kaplan Test Prep.

For the past several years, Nick has successfully represented hundreds of veterans in their disability claims in private practice with Jackson & MacNichol. He has also represented fellow authors in hybrid publishing contract negotiations and done environmental legal work for various non-profits and Tribes. Nick now focuses exclusively on veteran’s disability law, and works tirelessly to maximize benefits for his clients
When he’s not playing soccer and board games with his family, he’s probably writing or exploring the outdoors.
